Bio
Originally from Houston, Texas, Coach Jason started swimming at age
6 for ATEX Swim Team. He continued to swim for ATEX and the Woodlands
Swim Team for 10 years and was a varsity swimmer at Klein High School.
He was on the State Champion 200 Freestyle Relay, placed in the 50 free,
and attended Junior Nationals with ATEX. Jason received bachelor’s degrees
in Computer Science and Speech Communications from the University of
Texas at Austin. Currently, Coach Jason teaches Computer Science at
Keller Central High School. Coach Walter has coached high school swimming
and diving for 6 years at Keller Central and Richland High School. He
has had numerous District Champions and a Texas High School State Champion.
Coach Jason has been named District and Region coach of the year. Coach
Jason and his wife Darcy have a daughter named Anna and a son named
Colin.
