How to register for classes:

At LAC Swimming we want what is best for families, especially when it comes to the registration process.  Making a change with how we register, how we communicate with families regarding their swimmers’ levels, and how we conduct our lessons is not taken lightly.

Jackrabbit is a user-friendly program where you can register with LAC for lessons, enroll in classes, pay for classes, view your child’s progress, send messages to us, and more.

Here is a step by step walk through of the new process which we rolled out at our WAC and Colony locations this summer.

  1. You will click on this link and complete the registration page for your family and add a payment method.

  1. Once the registration opens for enrolling in classes (August 7th for fall session 1) you will see classes populate.  Be careful when selecting classes that you are selecting the correct location (you can filter by location as well to be sure only your desired location is shown).

  2. If there are spots available you will be able to enroll and pay right then.  If there are no spots available you will be able to join a waitlist. (Make sure you have toggled over at the top where it says “show classes with waitlists” or nothing will show)

  3. Save your user ID and password somewhere so you can go back and log in if you forgot what classes/times you enrolled your swimmer in.

  4. You will still receive a welcome email from the coach prior to the session starting with helpful information just like before.

  5. On the first day, your swimmer will still be assessed to determine what level they are on.  That information is recorded in Jackrabbit and you will be able to view it in the portal when you click on your child and then “skills” - a date under “date attained” means they have passed that level.
